Now Hear This… Kings of Leon “Radioactive”

Kings of Leon are getting ready to release their new album Come Around Sundown on October 19th and the first single has hit the airwaves.  “Radioactive” is a soulful southern rock jam that is different from the mega hits “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody”.  Different in a way that it’s not really radio friendly.  It’s more garage band jam session material.  Not to mention that the title is deceiving, the production is off, and the band sinks into the background of their own song.  Vocally, they fit this genre to a “T”, but it would have been easier to listen to if the song was a little more polished.  I was expecting really big things for Kings of Leon because the last album was such a juggernaut, but this disappoints.
