Now Hear This... Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross - The Social Network Movie Score Sneak Peek

I have a confession…I am totally excited to see The Social Network movie.  The movie revolves around the birth of Facebook and the drama following it.  David Fincher directed the movie and I love most of his movies.  He actually go his start doing music videos for artists like Madonna (Vogue, Express Yourself, Oh Father), George Michael (Freedom), and Paula Abdul in her hey-day.  Nowadays he is focused on feature films like Seven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons, Zodiac, and Fight Club.  The Social Network employs Trent Reznor as film score writer so you know it’s going to be dark.  There is a new trend in Hollywood of getting contemporary artists to do the movie’s score.  Daft Punk is doing Tron (I am waiting on pins and needles for that one), U2 has Spiderman on Broadway, and Bjork did Dancer in the Dark just to name a few.  Below is sample of the Trent Reznor score for the film.  Sounds dark and heavenly.
