Remember... Tasmin Archer "Sleeping Satellite"

Oh, Tasmin Archer’s “Sleeping Satellite” was a staple of mine in high school.  I remember how I thought the song was SO deep and meaningful.  LOL.  Funny how perspective changes as you get older.  Anyway, Tasmin has released only 3 albums.  1992 breakthrough Great Expectations, 1996′s  Bloom, and 2006′s ON. With “Sleeping Satellite” being her only hit, she found other creative outlets like sculpture and painting to express herself.  It’s too bad she never was able to follow up “Sleeping Satellite” with another hit.  I thought she had great potential.  Here’s to the one hit wonder.
